Canteen with cork stopper, felt covering and canvas carrying holder and strap. I think you are supposed to soak the felt in cold water to keep the canteen cool but I never tried it. The strap says MECO 1953 long but the inside of the canvas carrying strap says AC1943. I purchased it 20+ years ago at a military supply store and was told it was from WW2 but I never verified that information
