When I bought them I did not realize in an auction each was missing an ear. One I have a picture shows a wooden crack where ear is missing on the one that has a two tone body. You can have two ears made or just take one ear and put in the other deer the one that does not have a crack. They are cool. If you can place them with ears missing in back still look really cute
