The lining is polyamide ( nylon ), and it feels like the best made pantyhose you ever felt. Outer is a polyester backing with a short pile Rayon in the shape of Zebra stripes and feels like a velvet or velour. I couldn't find many comparable dresses in this brand. It definitely has a quality feel. Mannequin does not do this dress justice. I believe it belongs on a mid-size or smaller plus-size body where it can hug your curves.
