Antique Gorham Sterling Rimmed American Brilliant Cut Glass Salt Cellar, likely attributed to J. Hoare, dating back to the late 19th century. Features intricate, deep-cut patterns typical of the American Brilliant Period (ABP). Has a pressed daisy/palm fan motif. 1940s–50s look. The glasswork is often attributed to J. Hoare, a renowned glassmaker of the era, collaborating with Gorham. Dates to the last decade of the 19th century. Collectors are advised to look for unsigned pieces from the 19th century for the best quality, as later pieces may show signs of rushed production. Early American pressed glass. It is said if you leave EAPG in the sun, it may turn lavender purple in color. Please see my other listings for other salt cellars. This listing is for one. Thank you for stopping by!
