manthareta @neda972 I believe it is between 14.5in and 15in ( flat ) at the top opening before the slit at the top of back. Sorry, they are prepackaged for shipping, I can't unpack it to double check. I have a wide calf, they fit me well. The opening at the top shaft helps as well if you need a wider opening
