@michellehami565 So sorry for the delayed response, I just saw this question! Yes, absolutely good for the Alaska cold!! They're in excellent condition with very minimal wear (aside for the decorative snaps on top). I live in northern upstate NY, and it gets pretty dang cold here too, sometimes reaching temps of -20.

@michellehami565 I bought them specifically to keep my feet warm while shoveling during those cold snaps, which they indeed did! I just haven't been wearing them as often as we've since moved from a rural home to a suburban home, and don't spend nearly as much time doing outdoor chores like that anymore.
