These extremely soft black leather mary janes are excellent shoes that can be dressed up or down with ease. The leather is fairly thin and will require little to no break-in time. There is a slight heel. There is not much in the way of arch support, but the soles have moderate, comfortable padding. The toe box is generously sized to better allow a more natural stride and give your toes a bit of wiggle room. Whether you want to indule in some dark academia vibes, need something for concert black, or just have some comfortable shoes for work, these will get you where you want to go in comfort and understated style. Please note that these shoes are brand-new with original (kind smooshed) box. I don't know if they fit true to size, as they sent me the wrong size originally; however, the ones I have in my correct, larger size do fit as expected. If you are not sure on your size, I would err on the side of assuming it runs a little on the smaller side, especially if you want to wear thicker socks.
