The Ariat Women's Heritage III is a high quality, well constructed paddock boot. They feature high quality, full grain leather, padded collar, pull tab for easy off and on, and a front zipper (yes, they use the same YKK zipper as Coach!). But here are the features that really make this boot stand out. The Ariat 4 Layer Rebound (RLR) stability and cushion system delivers all day comfort and support: -4 layer cushioned for comfort - broad composite shank for lightweight support -rear cup heel for stability -shape allows forefoot flexibility Ariat Duratread Outsole specially formulated carbon rubber Duratread outsole provide exceptional durability and flexibility: - Up to 4x longer wear than traditional rubber outsoles - Highly resistant to manure and acidic waste -Self cleaning dual direction traction system -carbon rubber improved insulation from heat and cold My guess would be someone's young equestrian outgrew these before they got much wear. Whether you are looking for a pair for yourself, or sizing up your own young equestrian, these boots are a great deal.
