These are a bit higher than ankle and hit just the lower part of the calf. They have a slit with a stretchy band next to the zipper to help accommodate the fit on your lower calf. From the heel to top of shaft is approx 6.5 in. The top shaft is 12 in. around. The heel is just over 2 in. Worn once for Halloween last year, so just a little wear on the bottom soles, otherwise these are pretty much like new.
