dogparks1 Hi Serena hope your enjoying the day how was your swim yesterday? Hope you had fun and got some sun. It’s nice here the best is gone 70s is good temperature for me much better. My uncles car is most likely totaled it’s about 12 years old I think. Ran fine so now he will use a rents car till he can get my cousins she has a 2003 Jetta she mostly uses her Honda anyway for kids .

serenagarland @dogparks1 I had a nice day swimming...the water felt so cold that I stayed mostly on the float and sunbathed, got pretty tan. It's been in the 90's here and so muggy and hot. Supposed to start raining about the middle of the week. It will be raining on our drive to the hospital on Thursday so we will have to leave earlier than planned in case we need to drive slower. I just hate that his car was totaled but so happy that he is ok. Do they have any leads on who hit him?

Hope it does not rain too much and if you can or maybe someone else can let me know how it goes Thursday. We are at soccer practice and I’m in the shade it’s breezy . Mom says hi too . dogparks1 @serenagarland hi seeing glad your better thanks for letting me know about Thursday mom and I will be thinking of you I hope the weather is nicer for you . soccer opens Saturday mom and I will be trying to go to the games there is a total of 4 😳😂the older one she starts first part of September. serenagarland @dogparks1 Thank you, I am so apprehensive but it will be over soon. I dread traveling for 2 hours there and 2 hours back in thunderstorms but we need the rain. The kids stay busy for sure and I know your support means a lot to them :) Everyone is doing good, I will see the grand kids this weekend if I am able to go to the lake. My son will be here Thursday night, I am so tickled to get to see him. I sure understand internet issues, so you are fine. Tell mom HI for me!

serenagarland @dogparks1 Hi Michele, tomorrow is the day, but it will be over soon. Hopefully all goes well and there is not much pain afterwards which is what I dread but I believe that they give you pain medicines. It's still hot here, was up to 97 yesterday but the rain begins tomorrow. Been spending the day cleaning my room and my bathroom so that I have some comfort when I get home. Lots of pre-surgery instructions to follow the day before.

dogparks1 @serenagarland hi Serena I’m sure it will go well you’ll be home before ya know kids went for one last hooray before school tomorrow just went to park . You’ll be happy to see your son and your family time will help you feel better faster. I’m sure it’s hard. but try to get some sleep later tonight. My uncle and aunt got some money back from insurance for car it was gonna cost way too much to fix so they got more than they thought it’s a 2006 insurance gave them 5,000 not too shaby👍

serenagarland @dogparks1 I sure will be happy to have some time with both my kids and grandkids. It is just terrible that I won't be in top shape, but they will make me feel better for sure. I hope the kids have a great first day and a good year :) That wasn't too bad for his car, and it was quick too, it will sure help in replacing it. I just hope they can find the one responsible but I am sure that it is a long shot. Can't sleep tonight and I am NPO,, can't even have an ice chip, nothing at all.

serenagarland @dogparks1 It's going on 1 am now so I would say that getting some sleep won't be an option now :( I have to shower again soon and use the stuff that they gave me to shower in. I can't doll up so getting ready will be a breeze I suppose. I pretty much have everything prepared except for the cooler, I will sure be wanting a good ice cold drink as soon as I get to the car, lol.

serenagarland @dogparks1 Got home a few minutes ago...in some pain and feel drained but everything went well and the Dr told Melinda that he believes he was able to get everything. Now the wait for the biopsy to come back. I should know something next week. I have the best surgeon who is also my gynecologist, I trust him completely. Keep sending good healing energy this way!! Love ya my friend!!

serenagarland @dogparks1 I was so tired and sleepy but now wide awake, lol. I guess it's just the relief that everything is finally over and I did good so my body is able to just relax now. As always, thanks for thinking of me and always being there for me, it means a lot :) I am pretty sure that I won't need rocked to sleep tonight, lol. I will probably sleep a long time since I won't be worrying now.

serenagarland @dogparks1 My son is in the air now, I have been chatting some with him :) I won't get to see everyone till Sunday probably, my son's dad rented them a cabin in Gatlinburg for the weekend so he will be there until Sunday or Monday I suppose but then we are all meeting at the lake to celebrate my daughters 34th Birthday. It all works out since I need to re-coup some so that I can enjoy my time with my family. I am so excited to have them all together :)

serenagarland @dogparks1 You are fine, I have had lots of messages on Facebook to answer. I cannot believe that I am pretty much pain free right now but I am sure I will feel it later. Yes he is growing so fast, a little butterball now and so sweet, I can't wait to see him and Isabella :) Yeah I can work on my tan, no swimming or baths for 2 weeks, so swimming time may be over for me this year. She is doing pretty good now, just enjoying the lake life while the weather is good.

dogparks1 @serenagarland she and I are just happy things are good we will meet up one day I’m sure when you visit your son one day we will have so much fun. Glad your daughter is good the lake sounds great mom loves the water said it’s relaxing to hear to see and hear it . We went to Tiburon the other day just looking out over the bay it was clear you can see the Golden Gate Bridge. I think I have a picture of the city on my page not of bridge though . Make sure you don’t overdue it .🌷💕

serenagarland @dogparks1 Sounds like that was a nice little trip, I just love the beauty that is out there for us to take in and enjoy and keep in our memories. I am feeling fairly good today, I sure can tell that I had surgery though. I haven't had to take any of the pain medicine that he wrote for me, hopefully I won't need it. I did however take the ibuprophen he wrote for some slight cramping. I am just going to stay in bed today and take it easy. Hope you and mom are having a nice day :)

dogparks1 @serenagarland hi Serena glad your feeling good today and you don’t need anything more than aspirin. Resting in bed is best I think especially day after you will have more energy to spend with the family . It’s a little warm today tomorrow we are hoping it won’t be to warm for soccer the kids are excited. I’ll post pics . Too bad we don’t live close you would have fun but maybe when your little grandkids get older they will be out in the field kicking those soccer balls too . 🙂💕

serenagarland @dogparks1 Love your photo of the city, it's beautiful. I sure do wish we lived closer too, we would have so much fun and enjoy each others company. We could go to games together and enjoy all of the kids activities with them. I am sure that one day I will get out that way and we will finally meet up :)

serenagarland @dogparks1 It's 84 and the humidity is low so it's not too bad today. They are giving rain and thunderstorms all next week. We had thunderstorms on the way home yesterday but we just took our time.

serenagarland @dogparks1 Hey Michele, we had a really nice evening together and I had so much fun with the kids. Lorenzo was laughing up a storm and Izzy was so excited to see me. I must have overdone it because I had to stay in bed all day yesterday...slept most of the day. serenagarland @dogparks1 Hey Michele, I had an absolutely wonderful visit at my sisters the other day, pretty much the whole family was there and all the kids. It felt so good to see everybody. I have been somewhat down in the dumps for a few days, my son flew to Palm Springs to meet up with friends for a little vacation there. I am missing him terribly. He is coming back for Christmas though. Hope you are having a great day.

serenagarland @dogparks1 Oh no Michele, shingles are the worst! I have had them and my neighbor is just starting to get over them. If the pain hasn't set in yet, I must warn you that they are very painful and you are going to feel like crap. I sure hope that you are over them real soon and that you don't have a hard time with them. Sending love and good energy to you.

serenagarland @dogparks1 I have been doing ok, just have been really depressed since my surgery. The biopsy came back...no cancer. I should be happier but for some reason it's getting the best of me. I rarely get depressed but this is terrible. I hope I can snap out of it soon. I went through menopause about 8 years ago and from what I remember it wasn't too bad, but the hot flashes are the worst.

serenagarland @dogparks1 I have noticed also that there have been a lot of cases of shingles. I remember mine turned black and the pain was intense. Hopefully yours will heal quickly and not give you too much trouble.

dogparks1 @serenagarland sorry your depressed I’m glad your biopsy came back normal 🙂you have been through a lot it can take it’s toll of emotions. I hate the sweats so annoying especially when you want to sleep even though I have them on my stormy whole body feels itchy and just not clean even though I take a shower every day . When I was in my 20”s I probably shingles was what you put on a roof and premenopausal was a rock group😂😂😂

It has been so hot here, up in the 90's and no rain or relief in sight for this month. I believe that we are going to skip the fall season completely this year.

serenagarland @dogparks1 Stress can take a toll on our bodies and I have stressed over more than I should be I suppose, some things you cannot change and just have to accept and move on. I had one good thing happen last week...I was in a contest with 98 other people and there were 3 winners picked and I was one of them! I won a $25 gift certificate to Enchanted Ivy, she makes custom wire wrapped jewelry and it is beautiful. I am pretty happy that I was one of the winners :)

serenagarland @dogparks1 Hey Michele, how are you feeling? I sure hope that things have not got worse and that it is only a mild case of shingles. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you but my laptop has been giving me a bit of trouble for a few days. I am definitely going to have to get Melinda to work on it for me. It probably needs to be cleaned out and factory re-set which is a real pain in the butt, ugh. Tell mom HI for me. Hope you are resting and not feeling too bad tonight :)

Mom says go back she usually is off the weekend but worked today till 2 filled she was tired so she stayed in I went to store not much today tried to rest . Hope your better and felling good 🙂
