Will and Johanna DeMay Pottery Rare Buffalo Canister Jar W Lid Southwest 7" READ

This unique mid-century modern vase features a beautiful all-over glazed finish and a hand-molded 3D effect. No flaws except a cracking on the bottom underside of Buffalo lid handle (appears to be cracked from kiln heat). This is an amazing beautiful rare pottery piece from Will and Johanna DeMay. The textured ceramic material is decorated with a buffalo theme, making it a perfect addition to any art pottery collection. Measuring 7.5 inches in height and 21 inches in diameter, this original piece is signed by DeMay Studios and comes with an incised backstamp. The vase is a vintage item from the 1980s, produced using traditional pottery techniques in the United States.
