leysa @margauxjeanette Thank you for the support. I hate blocking people but I hate these tactics more. There’s nothing more disheartening than working with someone on a price only to see my item flipped, or searching for a brand and just finding a bunch of garbage tagged to try and boost someone’s closet sales. ❤️🖤

leysa @gigikposhmark Hi Gigi! Urgh those people are so annoying and such damn time wasters! I wonder if they go to the grocery store and when they get their total rang up only offer to pay 1/3 of it lol. If you go to their profile in the top right hand corner you will see an icon that looks like a sheet of paper with an arrow pointing upwards. If you click on it the option the ‘block user’ will be there. :)

spicy_rice Omg, I’ll be honest, I use to be that buyer but after being a seller for a little, I’ve realized how frustrating it can be to be lowballed, especially when u are already giving a great deal! It’s true, they assume sellers are desperate to get rid of their items. So yeah, u are not alone girl ✊🏻

leysa @spicy_rice when I first joined the offer feature didn’t exist. I get it works for some people but I see so many jacked up prices to offset offers that will come in. I wish we just had the option to turn off the feature on listings.

leysa @charissa5150 I price my label items (UNIF especially) at prices much lower than the majority of sellers so to give collectors and people new to the brand an opportunity to afford them. I typically take pretty big losses on most of my stuff. To see them snapped up and relisted for 3-8 times the price so the seller can make a huge profit is disgusting. I know how to price items, I just listed lower to give others the opportunity that I’ve been given with things in the past,

leysa @charissa5150 yeah that’s what really gets to me. If people are reselling cuz it didn’t work for them or later down the line I’m absolutely fine with that. It’s the ones you give a great deal to that then have it relisted the second it arrives at a huge profit.

flipprincess FYI, this listing was reported as offensive. I hit the disagree button because I totally agree with you. I hate to block too, but sometimes it’s needed. I’ve been getting a lot of rude lowballing trolls lately. Or those I have worked with on prices, answered all questions, & even add more pics to make sure they know what they are purchasing only to get a horrible rating for something ridiculous or out of my control. leysa @flipprincess Thank you :) it’s not listed to come up as a search item as it’s not listed for sale so the only way someone found it was looking through my closet. The person(s) who reported it were no doubt blocked from my closet. It’s funny, they think getting that listing removed is going to stop me blocking people? Lol

leysa @flipprincess What’s so ridiculous is I put the post up to let the people I blocked know why. Perhaps then they will rethink their actions towards others and the community. If this gets taken down it makes zero difference to me. I’ll just keep blocking and they can be confused and in the dark. 🤷🏼‍♀️

flipprincess @leysa lol. You rock! Blocking the undesirable posher allows more time & better experience for those people that do enjoy your closet. At least that’s how I look at it. I use to work with public and some people are just terrible & just best to avoid as much as possible. Btw, super cute & funky closet! I’m downsizing myself or I’d be shopping it but I’ll share your listings from time to time. No reciprocation expect I just like to share closets I like.

mosolly @leysa if you’re willing to sell something then it’s gone. and whatever that person does with it after it leaves your hands is entirely up to them. If I sell something to someone I really don’t care if they relisted as long as I feel like I got my $$. I get lowballed all the time I just ignore them.

leysa @mosolly How you run your closet and operate is entirely up to you. I am confused why you felt you needed to come & tell me about it though? I also have no idea why you felt you needed to give me a lowdown on the legalities surrounding resale of goods. It is my right to block people I don’t wish to interact with. I’m not even required to give a reason, according to Posh’s guidelines. FYI I’m not in the slightest bit interested in your opinions or thoughts on mine or your own operations.

leysa @kelkins70 Hey there! That’s absolutely fine. Even if later down the line you are over them and resell them higher to cover your losses, or even walk away a little better off. It’s the people on here who haggle low prices; or grab items from sellers that don’t know the value of what they are selling. They aren’t buying for personal use; their purpose is solely to re-list them when they arrive (sometimes before they have even received them!) Typically for 2-10x what they paid. 🖤

syrene78 Well said! I got an offer for 80% of my price yesterday. That must have been the lowest I ever got. This is just beyond rude. Some people just think we are so desperate to sell that it will be so low. Then you have the people who make an offer and they have an old payment in the system and they expect you to hold the item for them forever... In this cases, I would rather keep everything or give to someone in need.

leysa @syrene78 it’s so frustrating. I considered just listing my stuff at 2-3 times the real asking price to allow for the nonsense offers. I felt it wasn’t fair though to waste peoples time going back and fourth with offers. Apparently though some feel it’s ok to waste my time 🙄

agentarmoire I’m so glad I found this listing. I’m a new seller and just stunned at the number of offensive offers I’ve gotten, that I was very close to just shutting down. I am running a 3 for $30 deep discount, and still get “offers” for $15 for 3 items that are valued at well over $100 and NWT!! 😱 Not to mention all the aborted “bundles” I’m seeing. Anyway, I can related to all the lamenting above! 👍 Amen. 🙏

leysa @agentarmoire it’s so annoying. People are just so rude. I get these $5 offers in stuff listed for $20+ They think I’m gonna a) sell at that and b) sell it for $2.05 as that’s all I’d get. I must block at least 1 person a day 🖤

artisticflow05 @leysa Thanks so much for this post! I found it at the exact time I need it. To celebrate my closet turning 2 I sent out offers on most items 20% Off and most had free shipping. But instead I get your numbers 3, 7, & 8. I was uncomfortable as it was to send those offers much lower than my asking price but some people countered my offers with expectations that I give things away. 🤦‍♀️

I block so many people as I just don’t want to deal with them now or in the future. The funny thing is when they realize they are blocked some of them go and make a new account and just purchase outright. They don’t deserve nice things if they devalue them so much IMO 🖤

naeilanoir I find ppl can be extremely rude about it knowing dam well that pm takes 20% out of the sale. they complain they are paying shipping. well u pay for shipping majority of places even cheap stuff on Amazon u pay a membership fee to get prime. both seller and buyers I dont like being harassed or pushed into buying something just because liked or because I'm interested in an item. I've been harassed quite aggressively by a couple of sellers here and then blocked lol it's weird group of ppl lol
