This Smocked Heirloom Romper is Precious! The romper is special in that it is full length. Most Heirloom rompers are short. Done in a crisp White with pastel embroidery as well as other hand-crafted features. A Peter Pan collar has a matching trim that is hand faggoted (high-end stitch found in heirloom clothing). The stitching is done in a pastel pink threading which is rare. Short puff sleeves are banded for a tailored style. The bodice has features galore!! Just above the waist is a section of petite lattice design smocking. above that are two rows of white piping that is hand faggoted in pink stitching to match the collar. Above that is a "garden" of long and medium stem flowers, done in pink, blue and green embroidery. SUPER SWEET rare embroidery designh. The bottom of the smocking has a triple row of scalloped embroidery done in pink and white. Gathers at the waist fall gently into pleats down to the ankles. The bottom is banded in the front for a dressier, tailored style with elastic in the back for a "no- gap-fit". Inseam snaps for easy changes. Upper back button closure.
