These fit more like a tight small or adult XS in my opinion. The inseam on the inner and outer shorts is 2". The waistband does stretch and has an adjustable drawstring. The waist felt tighter than a normal adult small to me, but there is a good amount of stretch. The inner shorts have light/med compression.
