The beautiful hand-thrown bowl was made by Jack D. Westlin of Tacoma, Washington (1928-2003). It is more bold and dramatic than many of his works, with striped of blue and rust, and an allover splatter glaze in the same colors both inside and out. The inside of the bowl has one wide swath of a lighter shade. Measures approximately 9" in diameter and 3.5" tall. No chips or cracks. There is crazing on the interior, and a flaw in the glaze at one spot on the rim.
