hauteresale I really believe the Live Shows have ruined PM. These $5.00 Starts etc have given Buyers the idea that the site is a “giveaway”. Anyway, I would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you.

lilypad606 @hauteresale hi!! I agree it is definitely challenging. I cannot justify running Gucci / Prada / Johnny was etc for $3 or $5. Esp if there are not enough viewers bidding it up it risks selling at a huge loss. I am going to run my shows with prices that I think are great for the item but not flea market pricing because I know the value of my items. I may not get a ton of sales and will probably not sell out my tray like some sellers but will be happy with my “quality sales” lol

hauteresale @lilypad606 Yes, I agree with you on all counts. I would rather give my stuff to the local hospital consignment shop as I at least know the hospital will benefit. I wonder if the low ballers are re-selling too… This used to be a fun side hustle but not anymore.

lilypad606 @hauteresale agree! I am sure they are resellers too. Which is fine but…. I just started listing things on vest…. We shall see how that is. I still enjoy it and I think the lives are fun bcs I have met new poshers and it’s fun to have a face to the closet name. I don’t know how those doing it full time are doing tho 🤷‍♀️

hauteresale @lilypad606 I know the vest… haven’t tried it. I don’t have the energy to do a Live and I would need a major face lift before I get in front of a camera! 😄. I will enjoy following you, but as you know I am trying to get rid of my stuff, not add more. 😢
