neesedragon @ali101love I take items to a jeweler near me. Sometimes I need something repaired, sometimes just verified under a loupe stronger than what I have at home. There is almost always a fee but i feel it is worth it to be certain and to guarantee items for the buyer. I typically save up a number of items to take all at one time, so I am not pestering them too often. It helps that we have shopped there, too.

neesedragon @ali101love If it was just verifying, $3-5 for a group of similar items. The ring I have listed with a written appraisal was $50 but the value of the ring made it worth it. Repairs were the cost of the piece, like the clasp or link, and a couple dollars labor. So, each item maybe has $3-$7 additional cost if I took it to a jeweler. Hope that helps...

samipoo24 Hi Aneesa, I try to share between 9 and 10 in the morning because the west coast is on, then I try to share between 1pm and 3pm, if I did not share those times I always wait til 8:30 til 10 pm. It seems there are alot of Posher's on those times. @neesedragon . I believe the untimate time is bet. 9pm and 10pm. I hope that helps.

neesedragon @lotus0104 These are wonderful questions! When I first started on Posh, I was only a buyer, didn't have items listed to sell. When I did start listing, I found a couple "share groups" with the same interests (bags and vintage for me) and join a group share nearly every night. Poshmark looks for users who promote not only their own closets but other seller's closets. New users, new closets, etc. Share as much as you can.

neesedragon @lotus0104 Following users can result in their following you in return. People who host Posh parties are great people to follow and they are always Poshmark Compliant. This is a huge one. Poshmark prohibits selling certain items and only asks compliant closet sellers to host parties. I actually sent them an email back in August asking if there was any way I could sign up to host. Took a while, but was worth the wait.

neesedragon @lotus0104 Host Picks are at the discretion of the Co hosts. I chose items that I felt fit the theme as well as items I considered lovely items. People will ask for a host pick and I will look at their closets but if it isn't compliant (sells replicas, perfume, nail polish for example) I won't select from them and Posh recommends this. Ok, tons of info but I hope this helps...Let me know if I can help any further. Others have been fabulous to me, time to pay it forward.

neesedragon @tiascloset12 That is a very good question. A lot of sellers simply don't care that there are prohibited items. Others (I want to think) simply don't know. There are so many sellers that Poshmark can't police the whole site well enough to catch everyone. That's why many of us have created listings like this, to make it easier for new sellers to be compliant.

neesedragon @tiascloset12 Absolutely! We've all been there. There is nothing more frustrating than waiting for responses and knowing you can do nothing. I have a buyer who says an item I sent is not authentic. Frustrating but you learn that there is nothing you can do but be honest, share as much info as possible and cover you butt with photos and receipts from the post office. Please let me know what happens.

neesedragon @oceanpoet Very welcome. I also place a piece of string or ribbon across the packing tape, video it, to show it hasn't been taped closed and then reopened. Sales since then have not had one person send a complaint to Poshmark about an item not being as listed. Buyers know I am being as honest as possible and trying to protect us both. All my best!

It also gives me a second chance to look over the item before sending, in case I missed something the first time. Do you have one of those black sticks with ring sizes marked on it?
