Magnificent condition. One saucer is a bit more saturated than the other. No flaws or blemishes. Clean. Wedgwood Liberty Blue is collectible ironstone dinnerware featuring blue and white colonial scenes, produced by Enoch Wedgwood (Wedgwood & Co.) in Staffordshire, England, primarily during the 1970s to commemorate the American Bicentennial. Originally commissioned by the Benjamin Franklin Savings and Loan, the pattern became widely popular and was sold through grocery stores. Manufacturer: Enoch Wedgwood (Wedgwood & Co.) Material: Staffordshire Ironstone Pattern: "Liberty Blue," featuring "Historic Colonial Scenes" Production: Made in England between 1975 and 1976 Design: Blue and white transferware with a central colonial image and often a scalloped or floral border History: Commissioned by the Benjamin Franklin Savings and Loan for their 50th anniversary, coinciding with the U.S. Bicentennial Considering condition, quality and craftsmanship, our closet's listings are fairly priced.
