This is a child sized ceramic Peter Rabbit mug by Wedgwood of Etruria and Barlaston, made in England. Trademarked Beatrix Potter Designs and Peter Rabbit. Copyright Frederick Warne & Co. The mug has Beatrix Potter rabbit scenes on two sides and text on the other two. The text reads “Once upon a time there were four little rabbits, and their name were Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton tail and Peter.” “Now run along and don’t get into mischief.” There is a picture of Peter Rabbit inside the mug. The small mug holds 6 ounces. It stands 2.75 inches tall. The rim diameter is 2 7/8 inches. Very good pre-owned condition.
