Good question, but I think when we decided to have kids we made a deal to always work it out—an 18 year promise barring abuse or drugs—those would have been deal breakers. After the 18 years, you will find that you probably don’t want to grow old alone, and seek out the things you first admired about your mate. Keeps love alive. That and we are affectionate—never stop canoodling and kissing.
