The vest doesn't come with a material/ care tag so I'm not sure if they are made from the same materials or not. The size small (7/8) vest has a chest approximately 34-35 inches (17-17.5 inches pit to pit) and a length of approximately 21.5 inches. The small hoodie has a chest approximately 34-35 inches (17-17.5 inches pit to pit) and length of approximately 20.5 in front and 22 inches in back. The size medium (10/12) vest has a chest approximately 37-38 inches (18.5-19 inches pit to pit) and length of approximately 23.5 inches. The medium hoodie chest is approximately 36 inches (18 inches pit to pit) and the length is approximately 22.5 inches in front and 23-23.5 inches in back. I had to measure these still attached to the cardboard packaging so they might be slightly off.
