The Canadian designer studied with Hardy Amies in London -- and Amies designed dresses for Queen Elizabeth II, so Clark learn to adapt regality with chic and style. This dress is the flattering color combo of black and ivory -- a black wool jersey top with a slight boatneck to show off your shoulders; the jersey has a bit of stretch to it. The skirt is an ivory silk with a lot of body to it, and a self-fabric bow as a focal point of the cummerbund-style waistband, and three covered buttons in the back. And -- it has pockets! The skirt has a jersey-knit lining and then a full, stiff tulle petticoat with a deep lace hem over that, as you see in the photos. This is a classically beautiful dress that truly is reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn's style. This is a size 6 -- please check measurements.
