When the Frost is on the Punkin by James Whitcomb Riley of Greenfield, Indiana (1849 –1916) served as the inspiration for this plastic tray by Waverly Products. The word "punkin" was changed to "pumpkin" for the modern consumer. Waverly Products is first mentioned in publications in the 1950s, and as shown on the mark on the back, it belonged at the time to Consolidated Molded Products Corporation dating back to 1874 in Scranton, PA. This company had a lot of mergers and changed names/ownership over time, so it's unclear when this tray was produced. The Scranton-Times Tribune had an article on Jan. 14, 2021 with the headline "50 Years Ago - Fire destroys Consolidated Molded Products warehouse in Minooka", which would have been 1971, but I don't know if that was the end of them or not. It's anyone's guess!
The tray is in VGUC with some scratching to the main image, and some light marks on the back, all shown in photos.
