Gorgeous natural faceted watermelon tourmaline and blackened/oxidized sterling silver front facing hoop earrings Small natural purple and black watermelon tourmaline beads that are wire wrapped a bit to hook on the pretty round sparkly hoops I purchased a gorgeous watermelon tourmaline necklace from designer Laura Kitsos at store Gem in Chicago (now in Oak Park, IL) and decided I wanted earrings that kind of matched Went to a local Chicago bead and jewelry store and picked out 2 watermelon tourmaline stones/beads that were of similar shape and color (although since natural stones not exact matches), then picked out the sparkly blackened sterling circles and had them make the earrings for me Worn a few times but haven't worn these in years. Since they were just sitting in my jewelry drawer I decided to sell both the earrings and necklace The earrings stones are a bit darker than the necklace tourmaline; they are not faceted like necklace These are natural stones with an organic shape that are very interesting; they are uneven around the edges with a few notches to the stone which are not nicks just the nature of the stone.
