This is an authentic WWII Eisenhower jacket / wool field jacket from 1940s
Closes in the front with buttons and a snap
On the right sleeve, there is the army insignia for U S Army Master Sergeant (MSG)
The insignia has been removed from the left sleeve
Above the right pocket is a "ruptured duck" patch, officially known as the Honorable Discharge Insignia, which was issued to honorably discharged U.S. military personnel during World War II.
This permitted the soldiers to wear their uniforms for up to 30 days after discharge, to cope with clothing shortages at the time
Inside label indicates manufacture in 1944 by Marx Clothing Company
Two inside pockets, two outside patch pockets
There are 2 moth holes which have been identified in the photos, also a bit of fabric discoloration on the back of the jacket, see pics
The jacket is lined in green rayon fabric and is completely intact
