Think of the Primal Pursuit Mid as a hybrid of the Primal 2 and the Trailhead/Mesa. We incorporated all of the features you have grown to love about these shoe models into one new and improved style! The fit and feel is the same as the Primal 2, only with a bit more oomph, like the Trailhead/Mesa, in order to navigate over rocks and roots like a pro. The new Trail Traction Outsole features a slightly higher stack height and more cushion than the Primal 2, without tacking on too much extra weight.
