Although not signed, this Mexican sterling silver Amethyst Aztec Sun Pendant/Brooch is clearly a William Spratling design. It is identical to his signed pieces and like his signed pieces, it is lacking an assay mark which would date this piece pre-1946. It is a stunning piece of vintage jewelry featuring a star-shaped pendant/brooch showcasing beautiful bezel set purple amethyst cabochon stones.
