Excellent condition WHIRLPOOL RAPIDS Staffordshire England navy blue tan plate vintage r - Dark blue Historical Staffordshire 10" plate depicting Whirlpool Rapids at Niagara Falls. The border is a very pretty flower and fruit design. It is in great condition--deep cobalt color, nice shiny glaze, crisp transfer, no chips or cracks. The printed mark on the back says "Whirlpool Rapids, Staffordshire, England," so I think it is probably mid to late 19th century. Also, the Whirlpool Rapids are at Niagara Falls, and the first bridge wasn't built there until the mid-19th century. - Excellent gently loved condition, no visible flaws 🌼 OFFERS WELCOME🌼 Measurements available upon request.
