PLEASE do your research before buying a LAMB by Gwen Stefani WDMLG cashmere hoodie. They were replicated and sold as authentic. Fakes look very close but there are some telltale signs you should look for. 1. The easiest to spot: the authentic wording never matches up at the front zipper. You will see in Gwen's RS cover (or any other pics of her wearing this) that the wording does not flow; rather, one side of the zipper is one word vs the other side. On a fake, the words align on either side of the zipper with no disturbance to the pattern. 2.. The silk boudoir hang tag is never sewn completely to the neck, only in three spots, the two sides and the center. This early use of the tag is one reason they have been known to fall off frequently. Only the Made in China small tag is completely attached. 3. The white inner waist care tag has three variations of the font's boldness and is split between content, origin and care instructions, and the WDMLG? increasing in boldness with each break. 4. The metal caps for the hood string start with the L and then end with the B. Fakes have this backward. The LAMB font is also very distinct and pressed firmly into the metal; dots are low and accurate for placement. The metal was also not a silver tone but more brass-ish. 5. It is very rare to find one without holes. These are nearly 20 years old, and with time they usually have mini holes in the bodice. Any other questions, feel free to reach out!

edarling19 I included a SS of a site that sells these replicas to show how they have been able to saturate the market.

millers777 Thank you for this! I see so many fakes on designer denim, purses, watches, you name it and I feel bad for the people who don’t know what to look for on things. I never would have thought these hoodies would be replicated and sold as authentic, blows my mind someone actually took the time to make fake ones to sell. It’s a shame people do this and make money off lying to people. Awesome post thank you again for taking the time to educate people on this .

edarling19 @millers777 TY! These were so popular and very rare, not many originals were made due to it being a fairly expensive item/a botique brand, and they just flew off the shelf once she wore it on the cover of RS. I had to call 12 places the day they went on sale to land mine in an xs! We all work so hard for our money and when buying something so expensive you expect it to be authentic. Even the fakes are $100+ on the sites that make them. The differnces are so subtle at first and it's a shame.
