WATCH OUT!

How to detect that an item might be a sc🅰️Ⓜ️: ❌ Seller has a brand new account with only one to a few listings available, usually in the same category. ❌ ALWAYS check recently sold items from the brand you are following on Ⓜ️erc🅰️ri, Poshmark, e🅱️🅰️y, and other resale sites. See the same photos on a recently sold item? Red flag! Note, some sellers will list their item(s) on multiple sites (myself included), so be sure to check for other warning signs. ❌ Some will ❤️/like their own listings. ❌ When copying and pasting item descriptions, some listings will have it all in quotation marks. ❌ See user/shop names in photos like mine? Check to make sure it matches the seller’s user ID name exactly. ❌ If you see listings with just initials in the photos and not any of an actual item, that means Posh removed the photos after the original owner of them reported it, but they did not remove the actual listing. This is what happened to my photos on several occasions. ❌ Listings will never be $500+ because those items have to be authenticated by Poshmark. ❌ Check for feedback! If they have none, move along. ❌ Remember the old adage - if it seems too good to be true, it probably is! (Updated 08/14/22)
