kddid50 I love to add a portion of a perfume sample (you know stink strips!) to my package so it smells wonderful when it arrives!! barngirl I have a strange love for interesting tissue paper and fab ribbon. When I make a shoe sale, I wrap each one, on its own, in the tissue. Then I tie each one up with a pretty ribbon, like two little gifts!

barngirl Thank you!! I was a shoe buyer and part of our job was designing packaging of purchases for the stores. It was an awesome job!!! vele Me too! I think, secretly... I'm more excited about the packaging than the item I've bought! LOL I like to surprise my repeat buyers with an extra item from their Likes! A shirt, pants, shoes... Talk about a surprise! I also include lots of goodies-hand lotions, jewelry, scarves... I look at their closets to get an idea of what they like 😊

vele I totally agree! The one who takes pride in sending a pretty package, means they take take of their stuff! I have a whole desk full of tissue paper, little cards, goodies and ribbons! When I open a blah box I go "Really??" 😖LOL

cmhowald ❤This idea!!! 🌟Posh shout out!!🌟@stylergirl Jan ALWAYS has the cutest and most sophisticated packaging! Cute printed bags with shimmery ribbon and bright tissue paper. I actually try to open them really carefully so I can reuse them because they are so awesome! She throws in the cutest little surprises, the last earrings she surprised me with are so stinking cute! ~I usually use tissue and ribbon, or even scrapbook paper if the item is small enough. I like the thickness of it. 😘💕

kddid50 Please do!! I am hilarious, I take every stink strip out of every magazine and save them for my packages!!!! The dollar store has fantastic stickers, ribbon and fun little presents to put in the package to. From time to time I include a really nice gift. Especially if the person was fun to deal with!!!!! Hopefully we can share a package someday!!!! @kittykatfasion

gstravaganze @kddid50 @dressyu @myfashionkloset @kookc I agree! The way you present your package says a lot about the type of seller you are. I personally hand make a thank you note with a small watercolored picture on it. It's fun because I love to paint but also I can personilize it to my dear poshmark buyer.

51twenty Yes! It's all in the details. I always hand write a "Thank You" note on pretty cards and I made coupons too. I let them know that if they should my closet again they can redeem there coupon on there next purchase. I make sure that my buyers purchase is packaged to delight them when they open it- as if I were receiving it!@gstravaganze @dressyu @myfashionkloset

aflattery @kddid50 some tips on how I package my sales: I always wrap each item in tissue paper! It makes it feel like getting a gift ! I also always include a hand written thank you note. I always give my sales an extra thank you by adding in a free gift! I have a birchbox subscription so I'm always getting samples in the mail. Things I have double of or things that I already own in full size I wrap up to include in their package! I also use fun packing tape, just because I like making the boring usps boxes look fun!

gma_dida Not to ruin the fun because everything here sounds great a i too love beautifully wrapped pkg and you can truly tell that person cared. Now .. for the a tip ... perfumes, colognes, etc. normally have a alcohol base and I have ruined some of my own clothing by spaying perfume on them ... just wanted to throw that out there ... please be careful because someone bought those clothes, even jewelry from you for a reason! Loved 🍃❤️🍃
