W & H White House & Hardy Collabe Collection, exclusive & custom made only for the elite @ Fifth Avenue. Jacket & trench coat made to be water repellent with internal lining made only by the best 100% Alpaca inside lining on the inside of this beauty and 100% cotton made in the back. Coat is dark black with many secret compartments. This one is Capone Black in color named after the infamous Al Capone who was a frequent client. All apparel during this era was hand made and is still the tradition today. Roger Klent also made a 2nd one of a kind custom piece with lighter tones of light browns & beige accents. This store was established in 1902-1927 during the start of W.W.l and continues to endure today. All clients must make an appointment first no exceptions because everything is planned, prepared and executed according to clients taste in fabric, buttons, cuff links, tie, sock's, shoes and ultimately created by the current designers. It was a kind gesture by a famous individual whom I promised not to mention by name when who is a dear friend still when we were having drinks at the MET Gala on that very chilly Spring evening. I completely forgot to give it back after cocktails when dinner was announced. I was so embarrassed but as he fixed the color and made sure the cufflinks were visible he kindly said "it looks better on you anyway so consider it a gift"....
