Vtg peacock cocktail brooch or pendant

This is an amazing cocktail brooch from the mid-50s or early 60s. The brooch is in excellent vintage condition. The brooch also has a loop so it can be worn as a pendant. The underside has been polished to a mirror finish. The eye of the peacock has a red stone. The bird measures approximately 3" tall and 1 5/8" wide. The piece is unsigned and not marked. This is a shame because it would be great to give credit for an amazing piece of craftsmanship and art that is of the highest level. This is truly an amazing mid century survivor.
