Vintage Purple Violet Flowers China Snack / Lunch Plate Footed Cup Scallop Edge Plate Japan Measurements: Diameter of the Plate: 8" x 8" (20.32 cm x 20.32 cm) Teacup: Height: 2 1/8" (5.3975 cm) Width 3 1/2" (8.89 cm) Marked with Crown "M" Japan in good vintage condition no chips, cracks or repairs on plate one small chip on tea cup (see photos) no cracks or repairs on cup - Gold trim is fading on tea cup rim Note: From my research the speculation has this mark to be Morimura Brothers. It is estimated to date in the 1930s. Apparently, a lot of records were destroyed in Japan during WWII, so many experts are still trying to confirm the manufacturer.
