Vtg Stratton Black Medallion Folding Comb RARE

This is a vintage Stratton foldable comb. It has a beautiful black medallion floral design on both sides (a rare feature). There is beautiful scrollwork details around the edges. It is in good condition, but does have minor wear as it was used. The comb easily pivots in and out of the case. The celluloid comb has its Stratton, made in England mark, although the logo is faded a bit, and all the teeth of the comb are intact. A striking and beautiful piece despite some wear! Please view all photos as that is the best indication of condition. It is about 4" when closed and easily fits into a purse or small evening bag. Of interest, Stratton began producing powder compacts in the 1920's and expanded the line to include, folding combs, lip views, pill boxes, etc. They were made in England until 1997.
