Set of 8 vintage porcelain bells (4) and angel bells (4) from Japan, Christmas ornaments, probably made in the 50’s. The angels are often referred to as "Merry Christmas Angel Bells" and are typically made of white glazed porcelain with gold accents and hand-painted faces. The angels feature the phrase "Merry Christmas" on a sign or instrument held by the angel. The bells say “Merry Christmas,” “Holiday Greetings” and “Don’t open until Christmas.” All are approximately 2” tall and 4 have red yarn ribbons. Only one is missing the clapper. All are marked Japan, either paper or painted. The paint on the angel in red has worn off in many places. In good vintage condition with small imperfections consistent with age and use. I pack all fragile items in double or heavy duty boxes and use lots of bubble wrap. This sometimes increases shipping fees but I want your item to arrive safely.
