Vtg New Mexico 16” Navajo Sand Painting Wedding Vase Luck Signed Ben Matchers

Beautiful Sand Painting by Ben Matchers. Signed, and says "Wedding Vase with Bear as Fetish, Luck Harmony and Fortune, Monument Valley, Sand Painting by Ben Matchers Sheep springs NM, Crushed Sandstone" Note Sheep springs is part of the Navajo Nation. I cannot find a lot more about the artist other than a number of pieces have sold at Auction. Condition: Nice Vintage, has some discoloration to front, water stain on top right front, some other spots, have many detailed photos, please review all and ask if you need more info. This is a LARGE Piece at 16" by 15.75". I have a smaller piece for sale and will have more as I live very near the Navajo (and other) reservations. I believe this is from 90's or possibly earlier. There are some spots and flaws - see detail description. Sand Paintings are very hard to clean without rubbing off sand and patterns. Dimensions: 15.75" high, 16" wide, 1/8" thick (on what appears to be pressboard)
