Vtg. Merck Old World Christmas Nutcracker Ornament Inge-Glas Germany w/Box Green

Beautiful, vintage Merck Family's Old World Christmas (OWC) nutcracker hand-blown glass ornament made in Germany by Inge-Glas. The nutcracker wears a green jacket, orange-gold pants and a red hat. This ornament is embellished with glitter. This comes complete with the original Old World Christmas box. This ornament measures about 5 1/2" long including the cap and hanger and a little over 1 1/2" wide at the shoulders. This ornament is in great pre-owned condition and was possibly never used. The cap is very secure (not wiggly). There's a small, light possible paint scratch on the back as shown in the last photo. The box has some wear - it's a bit misshapen, and there's residue on the plastic film. This doesn't include a hook. The ornament stand is not included.
