Vtg McCoy 6 Sided Vase With Handles

1940s Arts deco period. McCoy Green glazed, Six sided, flower vase. 8.5 inches high and 5 inches diameter at top. In mint vintage condition--No chips no cracks. It has 2 small kiln pops from the firing. See photos. Art deco style double handled graceful piece. In 1910 Nelson McCoy & his father formed the Nelson McCoy Sanitary Stoneware Co. in Roseville Ohio. The firm made utilitarian household objects including jars, jugs, crocks, & bowls most often in stoneware. The company began making ART POTTERY after 1926 & in 1933 changed it's name to the Nelson McCoy Pottery Co., a name more recognizable to collectors today. In 1990 manufacturing at the pottery ceased.
