So we are just given out the information we see to help you determine the actual value/sometimes age etc. We have learned that the year that a diecast says it is, is often just when the model was made and not the actual year that particular one was made. Being made in Malaysia would mean that it is more current -Made in Hong Kong means it is most likely vintage. By no means are we experts.
