Vtg MCM Framed Tile Portrait of Bare-Chested Male Attributed to Harris G Strong

On offer is this charming framed ceramic tile portrait of a nude male in a deep red color. Although we cannot say with absolute certainty that this piece was made by Harris G. Strong, there are a number of characteristics that are typical of his work. One of those being the bubbling within the red glaze, and the mottled background effect is comparative to a number of other pieces we have examined. The external frame measurement are 5.6" by 5.5".
