Vtg Limoges France La Reine Courting Couple Miniature Plate Set Magenta Gold

A beautiful set of two (2) vintage miniature collector plates from La Reine Limoges, France. These plates feature the iconic "Fragonard" style romantic courting couple scenes, often called the "Love Story" motif. Design & Details: Colorway: Rich cranberry/magenta border with a brilliant white center. Accents: Highly decorative, thick 22K gold gilt detailing, including a repeating rose/floral scroll pattern on the border and a scalloped rim. Size: Each plate is approximately 2 3/4 inches (7 cm) in diameter. Backstamp: Marked with the gold gilt crown logo and script "La Reine Limoges Porcelaine" with factory control numbers (A1, A2). These small decorative dishes are perfect for a cabinet display, dollhouse, or as trinket/ring dishes. Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
