These exquisite mid-century natural stone earrings feature beautifully banded agate cabochons set in 12/20 gold-filled bezels and secured with decorative leaf-shaped prongs — a hallmark of artisan craftsmanship from the 1940s–1950s.
They are signed JJJ, a maker's mark attributed to Jacoby Inc., Julius J., a Providence, Rhode Island jewelry house known for gold-filled mountings and natural stone pieces during the early to mid-20th century. The workmanship, the screw-back findings, and the distinctive leaf-motif prongs all align perfectly with this era and maker.
The stones themselves are exceptional examples of banded agate, showing classic chevron layers in warm rust, cream, mocha, brick red, and gray — similar to Laguna or Crazy Lace agate. Each cabochon is high-dome and completely unique.
