Delicate vintage Italian porcelain candle holder set. This piece is crafted in a beautiful basket weave (or open-work) design and hand-painted with a garland of pink and yellow roses and green leaves. The base/saucer features a small, hand-painted yellow and brown butterfly. The piece breaks down into two parts: the central 'cup' style holder and the saucer/base. Marked 'ITALY' on the bottom of the base. It is reminiscent of the famous Capodimonte style, known for its intricate floral and basket designs.
