Vintage Herbert Levine KABUKI Shoes 50’s 60’s Robin Egg Blue White Leather Platform Size 5 These are incredible works of art that may very well have been one of a kind. The gold lining of the shoes is embossed “KABUKI” in oriental motif below in a rectangle is HERBERT LEVINE then below HERBERT LEVINE PATENT PENDING Hand written with pen on the inside of the both shoes: A 144 5M The leather is just wonderful with a super soft robin blue leather despite their age. Heel to toe about 9″ The platform is about 1 1/2″ There is very little wear. The tips at the toe have some wear however the flat portion of the bottom of the shoe again shows little wear. These were purchased in New York City and we are the original owners. We have a small collection of Kabuki shoes that are listed in our Etsy Shop. This pair of shoes has a fan club of it's own.
