Vtg Handmade Hand Embroidered Star Of Bethlehem Tapestry Quilt Wall Hanging 41" x 43" Blue Green Red White Maroon This amazing tapestry/quilt is from our large collection of all things vintage. There is 1/2" of blue edging that finishes the piece. Museum quality needlework. Each section is absolutely beautiful. The star block measures 28" x 28". The center of the star is maroon. There are eight points to the star. Starting from the center, there is one maroon diamond, 2 green diamonds, 3 white diamonds, 4 blue diamonds, 3 red diamonds, 2 green and then 1 blue. The star is boxed in by eight white, stitched panels, four triangles and four squares. The rest of the piece is surrounded by blue, green, and red geometric shapes. On the reverse, there are four 1 1/2" "slides" to insert a dowel rod for hanging ( not included). The reverse side is all blue cotton fabric. The piece is magnificent in excellent condition.
