Vintage Gucci Red Leather GG Accent Crossbody Bag For Parts Repair Restoration Only Authentic vintage Gucci crossbody bag for parts repair or restoration. Zipper top closure, rare silver tone GG hardware and removable crossbody strap. Interior lining is clean, partially in tact with powdery feel. It will need to be cleaned out and removed with a horse hair brush or vacuum. Bag measures approximately 8” H x 10”W x .5”D. Strap drop is 21” long. Serial # 007-49-0819. This bag originally had a red micro GG coated canvas outer shell. The coating deteriorated over the years due to age or storage. The lining in bags from this era have this same common issue. A photo of what the bag originally looked like when purchased is shown in the last photo. I removed all of the deterioration on the outside of the bag by hand with a horse hair brush down to the ivory colored fabric beneath it. A few tiny stragglers remain on the fabric. This bag can be used for parts (GG logo, strap, replacement logo) or can be repaired, painted or a new outer shell can be made by a person with art or painting skills. It will take a bit of work!!
