Vtg Gucci Accessory Collection PVC Vinyl GG Monogram Ophidia Camera Bag

Vintage late 70’s early 80’s Gucci Accessory collection beige/brown GG monogram PVC vinyl Ophidia camera shoulder bag. Zipper top closure with gold tone GG zipper pull charm, green/red equestrian web stripe, brown leather trim, beige vinyl interior with zipper pocket, exterior zipper pocket with small gold GG zipper pull charm, and adjustable shoulder strap. Bag measures 7.5” tall x 10” wide x 3” D. Strap drop is 16” to 19” long. Good vintage preowned condition considering the age of the bag (40 plus years old)PVC vinyl exterior is in good condition with some signs of use/wear/light marks. Hardware has some tarnishing due to age/use. This bag is an earlier version with an all vinyl interior without the coating that Gucci eventually used on the interior linings of their bags. It does not/will not have the peeling and flaking issues normally seen in bags from this era. It is clean overall with some light marks on the liner. The zippered pocket is hard to open and close from non-use. The zipper track may need to be lubricated. Most of the wear/use on the bag can be seen on the leather trim, piping, and shoulder strap. There is darkening, fading, scratching and uneven color as shown in photos. This bag would benefit greatly if the leather parts were thoroughly cleaned, conditioned, and polished. This bag is very vintage, previously used and not new with imperfections, but has lots of life and use left in it. Ask questions before purchasing. Price is pretty firm.
