Vtg Elinor Gay Original Dress 14 Black Crepe Cocktail 50s 60s Embroidered Eyelet I have done research to narrow down the time frame this dress was made and the date range is likely the 60s. This clothing brand often made black crepe cocktail dressed during that decade. The tag matches the 50s-60s tags. How cool to wear a garment with so much history!  pre-owned and in great condition. There is one area on the dress that looks like it may have been repaired at one point, but I am not completely sure. The fold of the top portion of the dress covers this area. Also, the zipper is quiet old and has some resistance. I recommend being gentle while zipping.  See photos for measurements of PTP, waist, hips. Dress is approx  37.5 inches long. The color of the garment may differ from photos taken. Sometimes the camera doesn't capture color correctly.  Vintage means an item is 20-100 years old. Please keep in mind, due to age, vintage is known to have discolorations, holes, pilling, cracking, etc. This is normal.
