From the 90's, this dress is still modern enough to wear. Overshirt is loose and flows over the waistband part of the skirt and conceals the lining bodice of dress that gives structure. Shoulder pads as well. the skirt is what gives the look. it is a true wrap in front with a curved hem that used to be called a tulip hem. At the waist, the top wrap is pleated with a single pleated scarf sash to help cover the opening. The back is flat. dress does have a full back zipper with an open loop hook and eye closure at the neckline. very pretty for church, weddings, dinner, the office, just throw on a blazer.sizing: bust of lining of the dress measures 21" across pit to pit. of course, the overshirt will be a bit wider, measuring 21.5" across laying flat unstretched. the waist is 17" across and the hips are 23" across. The overall length is 44" with a skirt length of 26". no damage, does need steamed since it was folded.
